Grants on this page were actual grants written for funding.
TIF Grants – I was the principal writer for two TIF Grants while working with Lancaster ISD. I managed the implementation and wrote and submitted the grants reports for these large technology infrastructure grants. The grants ranged from $800,000 to $2,250,000. The documentation for these grants belong to the school district and I do not have access to these documents any longer.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Extramural Research Certification
Make it Digital – This grant was written for the Educational Foundation in the school district.
MMETT Making the Most of Educational Technology Tools – This grant was written to promote the use of technology software as a tool to enhance the users efficiency and quality of products. Through the training provided, the user would be allowed to practice skills needed for school or job training. This training would enable them to successfully pass the Microsoft Specialist testing through a testing center established in the district’s technology department. Though the grant was not approved, the plan for training was integrated into the district’s technology plan the following year. Also, the Microsoft Testing center was established and through Perkins funds, Microsoft tests were available for no cost for students enrolled in BCIS I or II that achieved an A in the class.
MMETT Trainer Participation Letter – Trainers agreeing to train others for 8 hours were given a certificate to take one Microsoft Specialist’s test.
